The pupils took part in the John Muir Discovery Award, and engaged in the 4 areas of Discover, Explore, Conserve and Share. John Muir was great environmentalist who had a love of wild places and introducing them to young people.

As part of their work some 800 trees were planted by pupils, under the direction of the Environment Agency.
