Goodbye to Year 6 | July 22, 2022
Our Wonderful Year 6 children will be moving on today from the school and onto even brighter futures. We will miss them all.
Throughout the week we’ve been holding a number of different fun event for them to say goodbye.
This has included the brilliant leavers production they performed for their parents which comprised of a trip through all their years at Richard Avenue Primary School. The children and their teachers, Miss Cherrett and Miss Howard spent weeks preparing, which payed off giving us a flawless performance to enjoy.

The children also enjoyed a day out Bowling, (we hear Miss Lowther, “is mint at bowling and scored 109”), as well as a special leavers lunch today and a really fun and well attended BBQ yesterday.

Today on the field we had a special leavers assembly where all the school got to say goodbye and the Teachers lined up to give the children a very special guard of honour. There were a few tears but we’ll not say whether we mean the teachers or the children.

And finally we think the best way to say goodbye is from the children themselves with a goodbye video they made with Mr Williams. Thank you Year 6. Goodbye and good luck. If you ever need us, you know where we are.
