Covid Isolation Guidance | January 19, 2022
The isolation guidance for individuals who have tested positive for covid-19 is changing from Monday 17 January.
Individuals who have tested positive should isolate for 10 full days, but may be able to end their self-isolation from Day 6 if they have had two negative LFD tests, taken on consecutive
The first LFD test should not be taken before Day 5. If both test results are negative and the individual does not have a high temperature, they may end their self-isolation after the second negative test result.
If a person continues to test positive throughout the self-isolation period, including on the 10th day of self-isolation, they do not need to take any more LFD tests and can end their isolation after Day 10.
