Nursery are proud to present their first video Nativity.
To adhere to COVID guidelines children were recorded singing in small groups and then the recordings were merged in Audacity. In the video the children mimed to the songs.
Everyone at Richard Avenue wishes you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
This half term the children have been using our new running track to run 1976 miles – the amount of miles from our school to Lapland.
Every year group from Nursery to Year 6 took part – with an extra special effort from Year 6. The children had lots of fun and it was fantastic for our physical and mental well being.
Well done everyone!

On Remembrance Day, Richard Avenue Primary held an outdoor ceremony to learn about what people of this country have sacrificed and what for and to pay respects to them .
Miss McMaster gave the children a speech about Remembrance day and we followed that by the playing of The Last Post, while Mr Warkman raised the flag in the school grounds. Our Head girl then laid a wreath at the base of the flag pole.
