Well-Being Week 2019
During the 13th-14th of June the whole school had a focus upon Well-being. As a school we looked at the areas of Physical, Health and Mental Well-being.
A wide range of activities were planned for the children to teach them about these areas. We had many physical activities including: Trampolining, Basketball, Bench Ball, MMA and an assault course challenge for Early Years and KS1.
Health Well-being was focused around cookery and how we eat delicious healthy food every day. Mental Well-being sessions were provided by the school nurse. Our art during the week focused upon how the children look after their own mental well-being.
Overall, the children had a fun filled days from which they have gained a better understanding of how important their Well-being is and how they can be responsible for ensuring their own levels of Well-being.
