Nursery are proud to present their first video Nativity.
To adhere to COVID guidelines children were recorded singing in small groups and then the recordings were merged in Audacity. In the video the children mimed to the songs.

This half term the children have been using our new running track to run 1976 miles – the amount of miles from our school to Lapland.
Every year group from Nursery to Year 6 took part – with an extra special effort from Year 6. The children had lots of fun and it was fantastic for our physical and mental well being.
Over the last few weeks we have been a hive of activity preparing the school for Christmas. This includes the amazing decorations the staff put up around school and all the hard work that has gone into the Christmas productions and performances.
The first performance was by Key Stage 1 who performed ‘The Little Fir Tree’, for teachers, children, parents and carers.

Later in the week we were treated to EYFS performing their production, ‘Christmas Counts’ during which we heard both amazing singing and the children pulling off some extraordinary dance moves and solos.

The final production of the week was KS2 performing their Carol Service. A time to bring everyone together we watched some beautiful singing of many Christmas staples.

We hope you can come and join us, please remember that these are all events which require a ticket, which can be obtained from the school office. Also, due to fire regulations you are now discouraged from bringing a child’s buggy to such events. If you need to bring a buggy these will now be required be left outside on the pavement (just outside Mrs Todd’s Office).

The children of Key Stage 2 performed their annual Christmas Nativity with carols at both St.Nicholas’ Church for Key Stage 1 children and the staff, and in our School Hall for parents and the Mayor of Sunderland.

They performed beautiful renditions of a number of classic Christmas Carols and everyone in attendance seemed to have a great time.

This years Christmas production ‘Baubles’ was performed by Reception and Key Stage 1. All the children worked extremely hard and performed beautiful singing and fantastic acting to put on an amazing show for all those in attendance.
