Aspirations Day 2015

On Friday 5th June, 2015 we had an Aspirations Day in school. The day was to show our pupils a range of careers they could choose in the future and what skills each career requires. We were visited by a range of people who have chosen different careers paths including archaeologists, business owners, artists, emergency services and a Newcastle Eagles Basketball player to name but a few.

Key Stage 2 spent time speaking to the visitors to gather information about their jobs and ambitions. Key Stage 1 and Foundation Stage focused on ‘People Who Help Us’ and had a great afternoon speaking to our guests.
A huge thank you to all of the visitors who gave up their time to help the children think about their futures.

The pupils also made some video interviews with our guests about their professions. You can view some of the videos below, or watch them all on an Aspiratons Day 2015 playlist we’ve made on our YouTube channel .
