The pirates with Year 1 and 2.
Year 1 and 2 have been learning about pirates. The children were visited by Captain Burwash and Captain Raggybeard. They took part in lots of fun pirate activities and learned lots of new information.
Year 1 sang pirate songs and listened to interesting pirate stories. They were also given a mermaids tear! Year 2 learned lots about a real pirate’s life and their weapons. They also helped design Jolly Roger flags and posters to recruit new pirates for the ship.
