The cook with produce from our allotment.
The school has six raised beds in our allotment. We grow a range of seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as green house produce.
Joyce, our school cook, cooks some vegetables to be served with our healthy school dinners. The school has ‘Healthy School’ status.

Our Home charity this school year is Help for Heroes (H4H) .
It is a charity to help people who have been wounded or injured in the armed forces (army, navy or air force). H4H also helps the families of wounded men and women. H4H help people who have made sacrifices to help us.
The money we raise will help soldiers who are injured, hurt and sick. As part of the initiative, the school invited some experts in to talk to the children about Help for Heroes in Family Groups too. Alan Saddler and Dorothy Ganett explained who the charity helps and why. They told the children they should be proud of themselves for helping such a good cause.
